An exciting opportunity has arisen for a IT Support Manager to join our IT & Technology Team. This a full time role based on 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (flexible to meet the needs of the business).

Role Summary

At Broadway Travel, we rely on our IT systems to power the solutions that help travellers dream holidays come true. In this role, you will analyse our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide team training. Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the security landscape, the Microsoft ecosystem and cloud applications, experience managing staff and travel industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

Remote management of information technology and computer systems including, operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, telephony platform.
Management of IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees.
Develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
Ensuring security of data, network access backup systems.
Identify of problematic areas and implement strategic solutions.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and Cyber Essentials regulations.
Ensuring Antivirus Protection is monitored, and threats are removed.
Act as a service desk escalation point on tickets ensuring they meet SLA.
Build and maintain relationships with outsourced IT support partners, vendors, and suppliers.
Ensure our technologies meet the business needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery solution planning.
Analyse department needs, identify vulnerabilities, boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
Assist in budgetary planning and purchase decisions.
Research and stay abreast of applicable new technologies, regulations, resources and services.
To perform additional duties appropriate to job role as and when required.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems or computer science preferred.
3+ years’ experience working in a similar role.
Experience of IT troubleshooting, implementations, configuration and testing.
Excellent working knowledge of computer networks, network administration and security.
Excellent working knowledge of computer hardware set up and configuration, software systems and programs.
Excellent working knowledge of security software.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft infrastructure (Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Office 365).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across all levels and functions of the Company.
Excellent planning and organisational skills including the ability to deliver results, meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
Strong attention to detail, with strong creative and analytical thinking.
Resilience to deal with complex queries in a fast paced environment.
Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Ability to understand & identify risk.
Desire and ability to keep up to date with new technologies.
Ability to work on own initiative & as a member of a team.
Strong management skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
