An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Online Product Executive to join our Marketing team. This a full time role based on 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (flexible to meet the needs of the business). This is a home based role however travel to internal and external meetings may be required. Closing dates for applications is 15 November 2021.

Role Summary

Play a key role in improving our holiday portfolio ensuring the best performing product is visible and available to book on the company web platforms. Assist in the creation and management of a product and destination strategy and roadmap. Manage a dynamic pricing strategy in which prices change in response to real-time supply and demand as well as competitor activity and market conditions to ensure that we remain competitive in the marketplace.

Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse the website reports looking for trends, highlighting opportunities and resolving issues.
Manage online holiday portfolio to ensure that the best performing product is visible on the web platforms making changes where necessary to increase click-through and conversion rates.
Measure and analyse insights from changes against key metrics making amendments and recommendations where necessary.
Manage the product cache ensuring that it has sufficient stock and availability for the online holiday portfolio.
Conduct competitor analysis monitoring pricing strategies, product and marketing messaging & campaigns.
Manage the margins for the online channels adjusting where appropriate to ensure profitability of ecommerce traffic, maintaining revenue and profit levels whilst remaining competitive.
Manage the product onboarding process conducting destination research and supplier analysis.
Assist in the development of a strategy and roadmap looking at existing product and new opportunities.
Work alongside the Marketing Team providing support for both online and offline marketing campaigns.
Ensuring online offers and promotions are up to date and competitive.
Work closely with the Contract & Commercial Teams on new & existing product, helping to bring new product to market.
Coach, develop and manage any direct reports.
To complete daily tasks assigned to you in a timely manner.
Attend team briefings and participate in training sessions when required.
Skills & Experience
Strong commercial awareness and previous experience of working in a product/commercial role or similar for 2 years required.
Thorough knowledge of the travel industry with good geographical knowledge an advantage.
Good analytical skills and results focussed.
Ability to self-motivate and work on own initiative whilst working remotely.
Excellent planning and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines, work to tight timescales and prioritise workload whilst maintaining accuracy.
Experience with Google Analytics or other analytical software an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong IT skills including the ability to work with Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
