An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Content Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team. This a full time role based on 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (flexible to meet the needs of the business). This is a home based role however travel to internal and external meetings may be required. Closing dates for applications is 5 November 2021.

Role Summary

Working closely with the Senior PPC Executive and the Marketing Team, this is a creative role which will focus on content marketing. This role will be key to both the brand and SEO strategy, improving both online and offline conversion rates by increasing traffic to the group online platforms and driving forward the digital strategy through engaging, unique & relevant content material.

Create and upload engaging content to the company blogs, social media channels, brochures and across the groups’ websites ensuring that this adheres to the brand guidelines.
Optimise new and existing content and imagery produced internally & externally.
Implement SEO optimisation with keyword research and analysis and ensuring that all content adheres to best practices to improve ranking and quality score.
Use marketing and analytics tools to analyse and measure performance and effectiveness of content and campaigns making recommendations for improvement and/or future strategy.
Shape and execute the content strategy for the online platforms to ensure it reflects the strategic roadmap, priorities and brand values.
Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year across all platforms including web, blog and social media.
Provide support with content audits and analysis to determine recommendations which will improve content and overall website and/or social media channel performance.
Deliver & develop the creative concepts of content marketing and ensure consistency with the group’s brand and tone of voice.
Keep campaign messaging up to date with regular initiatives.
Compile content reports on a weekly/monthly basis and ensure that the content plan is fulfilled in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience
Experience working in a similar role as a content executive, SEO executive or copywriter.
Extensive experience with content creation for a range of channels.
Demonstrate creative flair with the ability to write engaging content relevant for both internal and external publications.
Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress an advantage but not essential.
Experience using Google Analytics, SEMRush or other SEO management tools needed to track and measure content performance.
Ability to self-motivate whilst working remotely with excellent planning and organisational skills including the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to proof all content thoroughly.
Strong research skills.
Strong command of English (both written and oral).
Adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
