
Head of Digital Marketing
Fully Remote (UK Based)An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Digital Marketing to join our marketing team. This is a remote or hybrid role based in the UK. It is a full time role based on 40 hours per week (flexible to meet the needs of the business).
Role Summary
Responsible for the digital / online marketing functions for the Broadway Travel and Inspired Luxury Escapes brands.
Promote and grow of the company’s online presence and sales by focusing on digital marketing strategies including but not limited to AI, SEO, content, PPC, database, affiliates and social channels.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies across various digital channels to drive traffic, engagement and conversions.
Develop Artificial Intelligence strategy to automate tasks, create personalised customer experiences, analyse data for insights, and optimise campaign performance.
Manage and improve search engine visibility through technical SEO, content optimisation and running PPC campaigns to attract customers to search and book.
Create and manage content strategies for the company's websites and social media platforms to build brand awareness and engage with the target audience.
Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the company's website, including content updates, maintenance, and ensuring a user-friendly experience to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyse key digital performance metrics, such as website activity, online sales, and campaign results, to identify areas for improvement and report on performance against targets.
Manage the full lifecycle of digital marketing campaigns, from setup to optimisation and reporting, often involving managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Day to day management and leadership of the digital marketing team and any external agencies.
Work closely with the product teams to optimise choice and competitiveness of inventory merchandised on the comparison channels.
Manage budgets against key KPI’s, providing forecasts where necessary.
Coordinate with the product and marketing team on key messaging and discounts.
Monitor and protect margins where discounts are being offered to ensure overall positive ROI.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in an online travel environment.
Proven record of people management with the ability to lead, manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team.
Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
Strong analytical skills to interpret website data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for optimising campaigns and improving user journeys.
Hands-on knowledge and experience of both on-site and off-site SEO, link building, and managing paid advertising campaigns.
Ability to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies, plan campaigns, and adapt to new digital opportunities and technologies.
Skill in communicating with various stakeholders, including marketing teams, designers, and other departments, to ensure aligned messaging and successful project delivery.
Familiarity with the travel industry, including products, trends, and consumer behaviours, is beneficial.
